While I may have certain career aspirations, I am currently looking for a position that will teach me more about specializations within the PR field to help me find my niche. Objective
Public relations crises and corporate negotiations intrigue me, but building my portfolio and finding a niche are my first career goals.
To date, I have experience working in promotional events and designing a non-profit awareness and recruitment campaign. Although I believe that I am ready and capable to begin work, I would be open to a paid internship or temporary position that would help build my portfolio.
Strengths
Foremost, I am adaptable, and I am a problem solver. Combined with my diverse education and research capabilities, I believe that I would be a valued addition to any communication team.
Talents: Writing, strategy and analysis— Writing has always come naturally to me, and my GPA speaks for itself. I can also produce unordinary solutions by applying intersectional knowledge learned from my diverse education. In addition, my experience researching various subjects will aid in creating effective PR materials catered to the audience.
Motivation— Healthy competition is an excellent motivator for me, and I look forward to growing with a team. However, I am also driven when working independently! A healthy mix of independence and collaboration is necessary when constructing strategic communications.

Description:
In my early 20s, I began working in brand representation for staffing and talent agencies. Through these companies, I have worked as a 1099-MISC independent contractor representing brands such as: Coca-cola, Magnum Ice Cream, Axe Body Spray, Marlboro, Jack Daniels, Three Olives, Grey Goose, Volkswagon, etc.
Duties:
My duties varied depending on the promotion type, but all executions centered around consumer engagement and client satisfaction. Brand representatives are expected to be professional, prepared and trustworthy. Many times I worked alone, with a team, or as the team leader.
Specific duties included: pre-execution/demo training or testing; checking in with booking agents and location management; attendance verification; consumer engagement; online reporting and feedback; reporting company expenses and receipts; and taking photos for the client.
