Neighbors Bakeshop Campaign
Campaign
Team collaboration
Date
April 2023
Campaign Goals: Volunteer acquisition, volunteer retention, and social media awareness/engagement.
Campaign Strength: This campaign was developed with a reinforcing feedback loop system for recruitment and retention that can lead to exponential growth when actics are used concurrently.
A four-member team created a strategic recruitment and awareness campaign for Neighbors Bakeshop. Neighbors Bakeshop is a capital generating part of Edwardsville Neighbors, a non-profit organization benefitting people with medical conditions financial assistance.
For this campaign we created a strategic campaign proposal and booklet for proposal implementation containing instructions for execution, deliverable materials and campaign evaluation tactics. Part of our strategy was to utilize existing connections between recruitment, retention, and awareness tools. The reinforcing feedback loop is informed by a post-experience, volunteer survey to evaluate retention rates and troubleshoot problems based on feedback and volunteer motivations. This information can then be used to improve retention and make predictions about staffing recruitment needs. Then, tactics that show recognition and value of returning volunteers reinforce community and self-esteem motivations while also spreading awareness to the volunteer's social network.
